Don Johnson (drj826) > There were several feet of snow in most places. The trail, however, was hard packed ice and snow on top. Occasionally, I would break through and sink up to my hips. But, it wasn't soft enough to require snowshoes.

Don Johnson (drj826) > This is the trail near the trailhead on the way back to the car. I can't remember another activity in my life as physically taxing as that hike!
