Dad and I took the canoe to the top end of the North Catamount Reservoir and caught some nice trout.

Don Johnson (drj826) > The reservoir was almost mirror calm as we headed to the other end.
Don Johnson (drj826) > At the east end of the reservoir you get a nice view of Pikes Peak to the north.
Don Johnson (drj826) > Here we are approaching the west end of the reservoir.  The water level was high causing the west end to be a submerged meadow -- ideal fishing!
Don Johnson (drj826) > We've arrived at the west end of the reservoir.  From this picture you can see we cheated!  We didn't paddle the canoe across the reservoir, I hooked up the trolling motor, and motored across in only about 20 minutes.
